Neil Covone devotes his practice to civil litigation, with a concentration in product liability, general liability, personal injury and wrongful death cases. He routinely defends product manufacturers and retailers through to verdict in tort cases. Mr. Covone has litigated or managed litigation in 12 states and deposed scores of plaintiffs and their experts in 24 states. He also has experience managing mass tort litigation, including representation of product manufacturers in multi-district and asbestos litigation.

Mr. Covone is admitted to practice in the state courts of Florida, as well as in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He is a member of the Florida Bar and the Defense Research Institute.

AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, Mr. Covone graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University in 1991 and received his Juris Doctorate degree from The Florida State University College of Law in 1995. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Covone was a professional soccer player and represented the United States as a national team player at every level, including as a member of the United States World Cup team (Italy 1990) and as captain of the United States U-20 World Cup team (Saudi Arabia 1989). During his youth, he traveled to 35 countries representing the United States in various soccer competitions.

Neil is married and has three children. He is a native Floridian who enjoys volunteering his time as a youth soccer coach and as a leader in the youth ministry of his church, First Baptist at Weston.
